Watch-only needs no wallet connection or signature. Nothing is written onchain until you choose to create a Verified ONE.
Two ways to use ONE
A watch-only portfolio groups public addresses on your device. A Verified ONE records, onchain, that the wallets are yours.
Add public wallet addresses and view their combined balances. Saved only in this browser, not linked onchain.
Link wallets you control and create one public identity that other apps can look up.
Public profile
The link is recorded on Monad Mainnet. Wallets can leave later, but the record that they were linked stays.

ONE reads public Monad data. No connection or signature required.
A ONE identity address shows whether the identity is active or inactive. A wallet address shows only the Verified ONE it is linked to now. Past links cannot be looked up from a wallet address.
How it works
Everything ONE does is reading public data or asking your wallet to approve one transaction. These limits hold in both modes.
Watch-only reads public Monad Mainnet data and needs no connection. A Verified ONE asks your primary wallet to approve one transaction, never a private key.
Linking sends a small amount of MON between wallets you own, and it stays with you. ONE never receives, holds, or controls funds, and never asks for a token approval.
The ONE identity address is not a wallet and holds nothing. Do not send funds to it.
